The DEGAS reimagines the classic friulana with a distinctive, contemporary detail: delicate laces to wrap around the ankle, turning every step into a personal, refined gesture. Tied in a bow or wrapped elegantly along the ankle, the laces gently shape the foot, enhancing its form and creating a slender, graceful silhouette. The silk velvet provides softness and subtle sheen, while the versatility of the laces gives the model its unique character: feminine, modern, and visually striking. Each pair is meticulously crafted by skilled artisans, ensuring comfort, durability, and a refined finish.
A design for those who appreciate understated elegance, yet seek a touch of creativity and contemporary flair in their everyday style. Each pair comes with two interchangeable lace options, as shown in the photographs: one in grosgrain ribbon and one in leather. Thanks to their easy interchangeability, the shoes can be personalized to suit your style and the occasion, allowing you to choose the detail that best reflects your personality each time. An exclusive feature that makes every pair even more versatile and unique.

FRIULIAN CONSTRUCTION
For our Friulane DEGAS, we have chosen the traditional construction technique, crafted exactly in the place where they originated. The shape gently adapts to the foot, enveloping it and offering a unique comfort.
The distinctive detail of the tone-on-tone laces, coordinated with the velvet, allows you to shape the ankle as you wish, highlighting the foot’s form while adding a contemporary and elegant touch. A simple gesture that transforms a classic shoe into a sophisticated and personal accessory.
RUBBER SOLE
True to tradition, the sole is made of recycled rubber from bicycle tires, a choice that combines authenticity and sustainability. Originally called “zavatis”, meaning slipper, the Friulana was intended for indoor use. The addition of the rubber sole made it suitable for outdoor wear while preserving its authentic character.
HOW TO CARE
We carefully value the marks of time. Here’s how to take care of your shoes:
Use a brush to remove dust and dirt.
Store the shoes in a cool, dry place.
After exposure to rain, let the shoes dry away from direct heat sources.
Apply a deodorizing or sanitizing spray inside and wait a few hours before wearing them.
OUR PACKAGING
We have designed our packaging to minimize waste and simplify the packing process for our artisans, selecting more sustainable and environmentally friendly materials.
MADE IN ITALY
We visited Gonars, in the province of Udine, where Friulane shoes have been made for generations. In the past, village women used to sew them by hand, attaching the fabric to the sole with the “sotpont,” a stitch made from underneath. Today, artisans continue to craft them following the true traditional method
